Guardian Angels was initially published in 1995, and is now out of print, however Victoria is in the process of updating the book and the updated version will be available on CD-ROM through this website once the editing has been completed.

Estimated cost for the CD’s is roughly $15. with $4. for shipping and handling.

Extra families are being added which were not in the first edition, and a great deal of information is being added on the families in the original book.  For example,

Victoria has traced the McDougal family to the year 150 AD. 

Any Killen descendant, or descendant of an allied or related family, is welcome to

submit information for the new edition.  It can be sent via email to thistledewbooks@comcast.net

In a nut shell, the book traces the Killen family through three brothers who came to the

U.S. in 1750, William, Thomas, and Adam Killen.  Allied and related families include:

Thornton; Powell; Poteet; Phillips; Cole; Smith; and numerous others.
